AERIAL OPERATIONS IN AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY AND INSULATOR CLEANING
Our area of operations encompasses all of Germany. The Ochtendung location focuses on the triangular-shaped area of Bingen, Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler and Trier, for the Potsdam location this is the Berlin metropolitan area and the Dresden metropolitan area for the Kesselsdorf location.
Our services comprise spreading, spraying, tree cutting work and insulator cleaning.
Spreading
Our forests have been severely damaged by environmental factors. For health maintenance and regeneration they are regularly supplied with carbonic magnesium lime from the air. In agriculture, we are primarily active in the spring to ensure optimal and timely supply of fertilizer to plants.
DHD Heliservice has decades of experience in agriculture and forestry. Our special spreader unit enables the precise application of fertilizer regardless of weather conditions (even when the fields are inaccessible to ground vehicles).
We document the quantities and places of application and provide this information to our customers.
Spraying
We have been doing crop-dusting for agriculture and viniculture since 1971. Our helicopters enable us to help our customers keep their crops healthy. Particularly for tall-growing crops or those on steep slopes such vineyards, a helicopter is clearly an advantage. Airflow from the rotor blades also causes the undersides of leaves to be wetted.
The position and quantity of substances applied is documented and made available to our customers.
Insulator cleaning in Southern Europe
Due to the low amounts of precipitation in the summer months in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece, salt deposits collect on overhead power line insulators, which may result in voltage flashovers. Using an insulator washing system we specially designed for this application, we can use the helicopter to effectively remove these deposits in the shortest time possible.
Pruning saw work
The tree pruning saw is a special development from our maintenance and servicing shop in cooperation with multiple experts. With this method, we have created an alternative to conventional manual tree limbing and topping employing a large number of personnel.
Years of experience in Scandinavian countries limbing and topping trees near power lines and pipelines have made us experts in the field.
